This page contains information about, and download links to, software that Document Solutions, Inc. has in development for a variety of purposes. These custom-designed utilities are used to meet the needs of our electronic discovery (E-Discovery) and data forensics specialists, working here at DSi.

MS Word Text Extraction
This application was designed to easily extract text from .DOC, .DOCX and .RTF files. The application will, by default, save the corresponding text file in the same directory as the source file. There is limited exception handling (it will catch exceptions but not report them). Please select only one type of text file per run.
File Zipper
This application will take single or multiple directories and create separate .zip files for each directory. It will encrypt the output automatically and email the information, with the passwords, to the specified email address. It is a great tool if you need to batch .zip folders and files.
Hash Code Generator
This application will take either a file or string input and calculate the MD5, SHA1 and CRC value for that corresponding item. If anyone would like for us to add additional hash types, please submit a request and we will work to incorporate that hash value into the application.
