Excerpt from article:

Document Solutions Inc. of Nashville is using a small electric car for many of its downtown errands. The company makes frequent trips to major law firms in the city, picking up documents, computers, hard drives or other records it then places in an electronic database to aid in litigation.

“All in all, it’s turned out to be a good thing,” said Kevin Tyner, co-founder and CFO for Document Solutions.

That’s because the company — which paid nearly $11,700 for the golf-cart style vehicle with its logo emblazoned on the side — has found the car to be more efficient in a number of ways. First, it expects to rack up about 2,000 miles on the vehicle this year, making for major savings in gas. A driver motoring around downtown Nashville also is able to quickly park the vehicle in numerous places at no charge.
