Goals of Filtering

By using state-of-the-art technology combined with experience, DSI can create a filtering strategy that will help you eliminate non-responsive material and identify privileged documents — all while maintaining defensibility in the process. The goal of the filtering stage is to create a method of reducing the amount of information to be reviewed but still retaining all of the information that does. This task is not as easy as it sounds, but by using our Smart Search & Filter© process we can develop a solid method of filtering that will aid in the review and success of the case.

DSi’s Filtering Strategy

Our goal is to work with you to create a custom filter by combining one or more of the above methods. Once created, the filter can be tested and validated. We consider it wise to present the filtering method to the opposing party for review once established. In this manner we can avoid any later argument regarding the filtering methods and will only need to make a single pass through the document universe.
